LEADERS Foundation is about aspirations, unique experiences and values. The organization was built in the year 2000, a moment when the Romanian society, hardly marked by the post-communist mentality, was strongly missing the leadership component. LEADERS took thus the mission to identify authentic leaders, but also to empower the future leaders generations, promoting a leadership model in which change begins from the lowest levels.

LEADERS Foundation wanted to develop a background in which actual and future leaders could interact and could coordinate their efforts towards the change of the society, a change realized through education, authentic leadership models and a new vision on the role of youngsters leading the society.Understanding the concept of leadership by the new leader’s generation, and also encouraging an entrepreneurial attitude, are the directions which LEADERS Foundations is following in the developed programs.

An innovative element brought by LEADERS Foundation is the promotion of a personal leadership attitude and quashing the myth which says that leadership is only found in politics. Leadership is approached as an essential component in education, business, arts, sports or civil society. It is taught directly from those who practice it but it evolves in new forms once new leaders are created.
