Leadership is the main component of change, assuring vision, but also the necessary dedication for its materialization. Even though the remarkable results of leaders leave an impression that they can be reached only with an ability you were born with, leadership is, in fact, a component you develop through education, unique experiences, and interaction with inspirational people and also, practice. To understand and better develop the leadership ability, it’s very important that the process begins from as early as possible, at small ages. An important aspect for leadership education is that this process of becoming a leader does not take place only in formal frameworks, a special role being given to the models in the society and to the actual practice.
Leadership always depends on the interaction with leaders, followers and situations. From this reason, there is no secret formula for leadership which can be universally applied, each person, group or company has its own leadership style. This situational aspect of leadership makes it possible for a person to change the roles, from leader to follower, depending on the context.
The efficiency of leadership depends very much on the way in which leaders define, follow, and cherish their vision to their followers. The leader is responsible to make the vision as relevant as possible to the followers, motivating them along the way.
Thus, a good leader is the one who has the ability and also responsibility, to determine, motivate, inspire, search for methods of action, and making himself followed.
